Tiffany Johnson is the Reaves Law Firm’s Director of Training and Organizational Development. A proud Memphis native, Tiffany earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami (Florida) and studied abroad at Oxford University in England. She then attended the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., where she taught seminars on basic legal rights and practical life skills to felony inmates.
After law school, Tiffany returned home to Memphis and began practicing personal injury law at a large firm before founding her own freelance legal research and writing business. In that capacity, she wrote research memoranda, dispositive motions, and appellate briefs for attorneys across the southeast. She also taught continuing legal education seminars for the Tennessee Bar Association, the Center for Creative Management, Law Practice CLE, the Tennessee Alliance for Black Lawyers, and other organizations. She has also given speeches and presentations before the American Association for Paralegal Education, the First Assembly of the United Nations, and the IWA International Trade Fair in Nuremberg, Germany.
In the latter part of her freelancing career, Tiffany also oversaw the Legal Studies Program at the University of Memphis. She taught five legal studies courses every semester and managed a full staff of adjunct instructors. After twelve years of independent legal writing and six years in academia, Tiffany was excited to shift gears and apply those perspectives at the Reaves Law Firm. Her teaching and instructional design background serves her well as she focuses on talent development, efficiency assessment, and general litigation support for the personal injury team. She is admitted to practice law in all state and federal courts of Tennessee and Mississippi, the federal courts of Arkansas, and the United States Supreme Court.
In her spare time, Tiffany enjoys building websites, going to movie theaters, playing with her pit bulls, and teaching firearm safety classes.
